*Erotic Review * Artist Intervention
Clare Cumberlidge was invited to be guest art curator of issue 4 of Erotic Review, the international literary and visual art journal. In a departure from the approach of previous editions, she chose to work with a single artist, Richard Malone, inviting them to inhabit the space, across 40 pages, creating a series of interventions in the visual and physical experience of the magazine as erotic encounter. The publication includes the curatorial essay “Afternoon Delight”.
We curated an exhibition of limited edition artworks by Malone at Reference Point London, and celebrated the launch of issue 4 with a panel discussion on art and desire moderated by Clare Cumberlidge featuring Malone, Rebecca Birrell and Alex Quicho.
